Mike Smith

Mike Smith is responsible for product planning, product management and product marketing at Solarflare. Previously, he was Executive VP of Worldwide Marketing at Emulex, a leader in the storage networking market. At Emulex, Smith played a key role in driving product strategy and customer engagements, and was instrumental in securing design wins with major OEMs. Prior to Emulex, he held various marketing management roles at Adaptec and spent 10 years at Western Digital, where he held a variety of marketing management and engineering positions. Smith began his career at Texas Instruments as a design engineer. He holds an MBA from University of California, Irvine and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
