Solarflare develops network interface software and hardware to transform the way applications use networks, which we call application-intelligent networking. Our products are utilized in many of the most demanding scale-out compute environments in the world.

Solarfalre recently introduced a new class of application accelerator—ApplicationOnload Engine™ (AOE)—which moves application processing into the network adapter for remarkably fast, on-the-fly processing of network data.

Solarflare also offers two families of high-performance, low-latency 10GbE server adapters. Onload server adapters provide unmatched performance and scalability. They are also enabled to run the company's OpenOnload® application acceleration middleware, which offers a unique combination of ultra-low latency, high message rates, and full application compatibility for performance improvement. Performant server adapters combine excellent performance across a wide range of application environments with tremendous value. Solarflare also offers SFP+ optical transceivers tested and certified with our 10GbE server adapters.

Onload Server Adapters

Solarflare Onload server adapters deliver the highest performance, lowest latency and most scalable 10GbE solution in the industry. Our Onload server adapters are OpenOnload® enabled and are ideal for the most demanding applications, including those in high-performance and cloud computing, virtualized data centers and grid architectures.

Performant Server Adapters

Solarflare Performant server adapters combine excellent performance and exceptional value to meet a broad range of 10GbE networking needs. Performant server adapters are an ideal fit for mainstream data center, enterprise, SMB, cloud computing, and HPC environments. Adapter hardware, drivers and firmware are the same as those found in Solarflare Onload server adapters.

Application Acceleration/OpenOnload

OpenOnload application acceleration middleware significantly enhances application performance by improving network I/O latency, bandwidth, and message rates, while reducing CPU utilization all with no need to modify applications or change the network infrastructure. Solarflare also offers EnterpriseOnload™, which bundles support and service level agreements with an Open Source software subscription.

SFP+ Transceivers

Solarflare's SFP+ 10GBASE-SR optical transceivers complete the networking solution by providing the physical interconnection with a Solarflare tested and approved SFP+ module. This streamlines customer's purchasing process enabling a single transaction at the server adapter point of sale from the same source, while simplifying selling and fulfillment activities.

High-Performance 10Gb Ethernet Controllers

The Solarflare SFC9000 10G Ethernet LOM/controller family features unmatched performance and scalability for next-generation, virtualized data centers. SFC9000 controllers are uniquely equipped to handle the application loads of next generation of multi-core processors, while at the same time providing unmatched power efficiency.
