SolarFlare Communications Names Bradley Masters as Vice President of Engineering
Irvine, Calif., February 2, 2004 –SolarFlare Communications Inc., a
developer of high-performance semiconductor products for physical layer
connectivity and the leader in 10 Gbit/s Ethernet over copper development, has appointed Bradley Masters as Vice President of Engineering. Mr. Masters will report to Russell Stern,
CEO.

Mr.
Masters brings over fifteen years of executive leadership in high technology to
his new role at SolarFlare Communications.
Previously, he was Vice-President of Engineering for JNI Corporation (was Nasdaq:JNIC), a leading supplier of
Fibre Channel Host Bus Adapters and Infiniband Host Channel Adapters. Prior to JNI, Masters spent seventeen years
at Western Digital Corporation (Nasdaq:WDC), where he was Vice-President of A/V Product
Development and served in various hardware, firmware, software, and VLSI
engineering management positions until co-founding and taking on the role of
Senior Vice President of Engineering and Operations for Keen Personal Media,
which developed Personal Video Recording hardware and software.
